I spent over 20 years in technology and consulting, including strategy leadership roles at Deloitte Consulting and Accenture Strategy. During that time, I led large-scale transformations and program recoveries for organizations like Meta, Verizon, Charter Communications, AT&T, the Department of Defense, and NASA. I became known for turning around high-value programs on the brink of failure by aligning teams, rebuilding trust, and driving execution when the odds were stacked against us. I achieved a 100% success rate by combining decisive leadership with the ability to build capable, confident leaders quickly.
After a successful consulting career, I took on the challenge of becoming a full-time firefighter in the unforgiving climate and terrain of the Colorado mountains. My prior EMS experience paired with my corporate background helped me quickly advance to an officer rank, leading to awards including Rookie of the Year, Firefighter of the Year, and a Lifesaving Award. Leading in the fire service confirmed that the principles of high performance are universal. The same clarity, trust, and adaptability that turned around failing corporate programs were exactly what kept my crew safe on the fireground.
Today, I bring that dual perspective to every client. I don’t just teach theory. I coach from the reality of having led in the boardroom and on the front line.
